Ardell was a happy and healthy little guy who loved going along with his daddy whenever the opportunity presented itself. He loved playing with balls of any shape and size and he loved his puppy, Toby. He was always smiling and making funny little faces, the ray of sunshine in his parents’ lives.
Three weeks before he became sick, he became a big brother when Bentley James was born. Ardell’s days were spent with mommy who fed and cared for him and often played with him outside. His evenings were spent with daddy and mommy, picking huckleberries and mushrooms, horseback riding, “helping” feed the animals, cutting firewood and working on the latest project. These were his highlights.
On July 31 Ardell came down with what appeared to be the flu. It quickly became apparent that it was something much more, and he was life-flighted to Sacred Heart, Spokane. He bravely fought for 5 weeks there and three additional weeks in Seattle, until he peacefully passed from the loving arms of his parents to the loving arms of Jesus. He will be greatly missed by his parents, grandparents, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. But we know that Ardell is happy and healthy once again in the Glory of our Lord!
