In 1957, Jack got a job at The Sanders County Ledger in Thompson Falls, where initially he was the linotype operator when The Ledger was printed in house. Jack worked at The Ledger for over 30 years.
He enjoyed golfing, fishing, boating, hunting, bowling, card games and was quite a good dancer in spite of the fact he was deaf. As many people know, he also loved practical jokes.
Jack is survived by his wife, Shirley, daughters, Jackie, Sydney and Terry.
At his request there will be no service.
