Bonnie was born April 10, 1939 to Helen and Floyd Baylor in Missoula. She married Bryce Doty, May 28, 1958, where they lived in and around the Thompson Falls area until she passed away. Together they had three sons.
Bonnie was a devoted mother, wife, sister, grandmother and aunt. She especially enjoyed metal detecting and finding old treasures from the desert to the mountains. She became a long-term care-giver to abandoned animals, mainly cats, and spared no expense to save and nurture them. She was also an avid gardener and enjoyed all varieties of music, mainly classical. Bonnie was kind, soft hearted, always willing to help someone in need if she could.
She battled Parkinson's disease for many years and lost her war against lung cancer after four years, passing away with no extreme or radical treatments but with dignity and grace.
Bonnie is survived by husband, Bryce at the family home; three sons, Michael, wife Deborah and children Jessica and Jacqueline, Stephen, at the home and Jesse, wife Kathy and daughter Alex. She also leaves behind four siblings, brothers Ed and Jim Baylor and sisters, Sherry Weingart, and Serena (Pie) Wunderlich, several nieces and nephews and special friends Carol Baylor and Pam Baylor.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Dave and Bruce Baylor; sisters, Bernice McKenzie and Lori Jonas; niece, Jan Baylor and Aunt Violet Campbell.
Cremation has taken place at Sunset Hills Funeral Home, there will be no services but a family memorial at a later date is planned.
