Denise Marie Jaeger passed away Nov. 12, 2016, at her home in Thompson Falls after a long and courageous fight against lung disease and osteoporosis.
She was born in Butte May 29, 1958.
She is survived by her husband Rick Hensyel. She is also survived by her Aunt Helen and Uncle Pat Denton; her children, Jason Jaeger and Jennifer Jaeger; siblings, Maggie Denton, George Myhre, Penny-Rae Parkerson and Shane Denton; her other children, Eric Hensyel, Dana Hansen and Arielle Hensyel; her best friend, Sherry Steward and her many loving grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Denise was a true matriarch for three generations and spent her whole life in the care and guidance of a very large family tree, with branches that kept branching and growing larger than she could ever have imagined. Her love for everyone in her family was apparent. There was not a single person who did not love her back. Denise was love.
Denise loved music. She could always be found accompanying Rick at his performances around the Northwest, singing along and dancing. She also loved cooking and crafting, and was known for her creative holiday atmospheres. Denise was a proud mother and grandmother.
Denise’s family would like to invite all family and friends to attend the service at Thompson Falls Christian Church, 103 Church St, Thompson Falls, Mont. Saturday, Nov. 26 at 11 a.m.
This will be followed by a Celebration of Life Potluck from 2 to 8 p.m. at her family home, 1114 Preston Ave. Please join us in the sharing of your stories with an afternoon of family, friends and food. If anyone has a favorite picture of Denise or an old album, we would love to share.
