Dennis was born at Rowley’s Hospital in Mount Vernon, Wash. March 19, 1946 to George and Bell Ball. His early years were spent in Nenana, Alaska. He later moved back to western Washington and finally settled in Thompson Falls, where he so dearly loved.
Dennis was a Vietnam veteran of the US Navy and a proud member of the American Legion. He was also a member and Trustee of the Elks Lodge #2757 in Thompson Falls for 13 years.
Dennis is survived by his wife of 16 years, Linda Ball; his children, Jeffery Wayne Ball, Shaun Allen Ball and Sarah Bell Ball; and grandchildren, Dalton Woods-Ball and Shania Natomi Anderson.
Dennis had seemingly done it all in his lifetime, though brief. He was a man of many hats, from his years in the refineries in Washington state, to racing sprint cars at Skagit Speedway, to helping paint the dam in Thompson Falls. It was a pleasure and an honor to have been touched by him in some way, for his family and friends he will be sorely missed.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Dec. 7 at noon at the Elks Lodge. Please join us to say goodbye to an amazing man.
May your neighbors respect you, troubles neglect you, the angels protect you and heaven expect you.
