Dyke grew up in Thompson Falls and graduated from Thompson Falls High School. He served in the Army for two years and was stationed in Colorado Springs, Colo. and Germany. He was a loving father and grandfather, and a devout Catholic and he taught his children to appreciate hard work and strong family values. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Stobie and mother, Juanita Stobie. He is survived by his father, Herbert Stobie; son, Andrew Stobie; daughter, Rebecca Stobie; grandchildren and his brothers and sisters.
Services will be held at St Williams Catholic Church in Thompson Falls Friday Nov. 25 at 11 a.m., luncheon to follow.
