Jim met his soul mate, Percy, in 1972. Together they raised their children and worked side by side both in New Mexico and Montana. Jim is survived by his wife Percy, three children and nine grandchildren. Son Joe, his children Skyler and Jamie; Lynn and son Dustin; Danny and wife Elva and children, Daniel (deceased), Steven, and Brianna; Denise and husband, Milton and their three children, Desiree, Matthew, and Tori, all of New Mexico. He is also survived by two of his brothers, Steve and wife Gail of Arkansas, and George of New Mexico and two sisters, Ramona of Colorado and Katherine of New Mexico. He was preceded in death by his mother and father as well as his brothers, Leroy and Otto, niece Danielle, and grandson, Daniel.
Jim will be remembered by those closest to him as a hard worker and storyteller, a man who loved his country, family, and friends. A memorial will be held for Jim at St. Williams Catholic Church, where he was a practicing member, Saturday, April 9 at 11 a.m. There will be a luncheon following the mass.
