Jamie Robert Brown was born in Missoula August 18, 1972 and spent most of his younger years living there until his move to Trout Creek with his family where he resided until his final move to Sandpoint. (Life Care Center).
Jamie was one of the most humble, courageous, loving, compassionate, giving, and patient spirits one could ever imagine. In all his times of pain and suffering, Jamie never complained. He loved being outdoors, being around laughter, and involved in anything that would bring family together. Jamie loved spending time with his nieces and nephews where he taught them how to be humble, patient, and kind. The children loved spending time with Jamie no matter what we were doing (amazing and gifted souls are easy to be around). Jamie had a great fondness to food. His favorites were strawberry milkshakes, cheeseburgers, any kid of sweets, and mom’s pancakes for breakfast (every morning if he had his way). In Jamie’s earlier (teen) years he and his older brother (Jeremy) acquired a passion for Twisted Sister and in his older age (20’s) he decided that he wanted to go back to his roots and listen to the good old oldies. His favorite musician was Elvis (Hound Dog); on the other hand, he also loved most county music artists and yet, never complained about anything that was playing. Jamie always proudly stated that he was never older than 25 years of age. At every birthday he stated that he was 25, so we quit putting so many candles on the cake. No matter whom you were what you did, or how well others knew Jamie; everyone who ever met this incredible man left feeling “something more special” in his/her heart. He truly touched hundreds of people on this earth!
Jamie was preceded in death by his mother, Susan Brown, brother Jeremy Brown, grandfather Walter Brown and grandmother Marianna Brown.
He is survived by his father Maret Brown and step-mother Donna Brown, brother Jason Brown and wife Kristie, Krystal Hove (Sean, Kaydence and Mason), Kaydra, Westin, and Kailey), Julie Force (Al and Cody), Danny and Dorothy Russell (Denise, Danielle, Darla, Donavon, and Dustin), Heather and Aaron O'Clair, Rhett Runkle, Todd (TJ, Heather and Joe), Mark Runkle (Amy, Melissa, David, and Tara), Terrie (Richard, Jacob, and Alek), Amy (James and Jesse), and many other family and friends who loved and supported Jamie. We all will miss him ever so deeply as Jamie has impacted all of our lives.
The family would like to give a special thank you for the love and dedication that you have shown to Jamie during his time here on earth; Corky Wade, Colleen Jaramillo, Debbie Smith, Clark Fork Valley Hospital, Main Street Medical, Life Care Center, all other family members who helped care for Jamie. We know that he was ever so grateful for each and every one of you.
A memorial service will be held this summer in Missoula, Montana where he will be laid to rest high on the mountain with his mother, brother, and other family members. The Celebration of Life will be full of love and laughter with lots of family and friends at his most favorite place where he grew up. Family and close friends will celebrate the life of Jamie on June 18, 2016 in Turah, Mont. at 2 p.m.
