She went to Boston University and University of Massachusetts, receiving a Master Degree in Special Education. She taught in Massachusetts, Hawaii, and Alaska.
October 12, 2007, she married Roger Larson in his parent’s backyard in Trout Creek. Shortly after, the couple retired from the Lower Kuskokwim School District in Bethel, Alaska and moved to Trout Creek.
She always thought Trout Creek was beautiful and commented about if often. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, always looking after and helping others as much as she could. She loved to grow plants and was a gourmet cook.
She is survived by her husband, Roger of Trout Creek; mother, Wanda Wasielewski of New Hampsire; daughter, Dawn Prentice-Timmreck of Anchorage, Alaska; brothers, Edward Wasielewski, Jr. of Hudson, N.H., Dan Wasielewski of Fairfield, Iowa and Tim Wasielewski of Willington, Conn.; sisters, Tammy Cone of Matthews, N.C. and Laura Wasielewski-Falkengren; two grandchildren, James Prentice and Joseph Timmreck and nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are under the care of Garden City Funeral Home.
