Larry was born May 27, 1943 to James and Geneva Conlin in Bowbells, N.D. The family later moved to Missoula and then to Thompson Falls. Larry graduated from Thompson Falls High School in 1962. He then enlisted in the United States Air Force.
In 1963 Larry married Cheryl Saint and they were blessed with three children.
The family spent 20 years in the Air Force, living in multiple locations. Larry retired from the Air Force and moved to Alaska. He then worked for the Alaska telephone Utility, retiring in 1994, and moving back to Thompson Falls. He always kept his time in Alaska in his heart. He loved hunting, fishing and always hoped to return.
He is survived by his wife Cheryl Conlin of Thompson Falls; daughters, Valerie Romero-Townsend of Thompson Falls, Pamela Christie of Puyallup, Wash.; son, Keith Conlin of Palmer, Alaska; two brothers, Don and Gene Conlin, nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He will be missed for the games played with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren, for eating of all our 'burnt' marshmallows and all the good times.
