Bud spent time working for a private contractor in Vietnam and the Marshall Islands. He also worked for and retired from San Diego County at Deer Park in Escondido, Calif.
Bud was a dedicated family man and was always ready for a get-together. He loved to take Mary mushroom hunting, huckleberry picking, camping and traveling. Bud loved his gardens and fishing on the Clark Fork River. He had a passion for golfing that began when he was 14. As he got older, he spent 3-4 days each week golfing. Bud was also a proud member of the Marine Corps League, Sandpoint detachment. All will remember Bud as a kind, gentle man who never had a cross word to say about anyone.
