Becoming a band of basketball brothers, the Hot Springs Savage Heat boys played two other Sanders County teams last week, falling to Noxon 50-27 on Noxon Friday and returning home to fall to Plains 69-25 in Hot Springs Saturday.

Coach Ricky DePoe’s band of hoop brothers returns to action this week, hosting St. Regis Thursday and traveling to Charlo Friday.

At Noxon, Brandon Knudsen scored 15 points to lead the Heat, Justin Salmi added six, Sean Fisher four and Tyler Carr two.

Against Plains, Carr paced Hot Springs with nine points, Salmi and Luke Waterbury score seven each and Knudsen two.

Please see other stories for detail on Noxon and Plains scoring in those two games.
