Bonnie Briggs is the keynote speaker for a women’s retreat sponsored by New Life Fellowship this weekend. Briggs, from Ohio, is an author and has had her own television show, along with pastoring her own church.
Briggs’s ministry is called Mercy Ministry 101. According to New Life Fellowship, “she brings hope, encouragement and healing to the body of Christ through her teaching of God’s Word.”
The retreat is free, and meals will be served. There will be an offering taken for the speaker.
Registration and refreshments are Friday, Jan. 19, at 6 p.m., with Briggs speaking at 7 p.m. The retreat continues all day Saturday, with Briggs speaking at 9 a.m. to start the day. Pastor Irene Anderson and Phyllis Sellmer also will speak. New Life Fellowship is located on Airport Road in Thompson Falls. For more information, call 827-4406.
