Trotters cool Heat, tame Tigers

Coach Jess Nagy and her Plains Trotters prevailed in two more District 14C games last week, defeating Hot Springs 49-37 in Plains Thursday and knocking off St. Regis 46-33 in St. Regis Friday.

Two weeks out from the 14C tournament in Pablo, the Trotters will complete regular season play this week, playing Two Eagle River in Pablo Friday and hosting Noxon Saturday.

Kassidy Kinzie and Lindsay Laws scored 11 points each in the win over Hot Springs, Jessica Thopson added 10, Kara Altmiller, Rachel Huenink and Kylee Altmiller four each, Haley Jospehson three and AnaLisa Loberg two.

Against St. Regis, Laws and Thompson each put down 13 points, Kara Altmiller scored 11, Kinzie five and Josephson four.

Madison Kelly scored 12 points to lead St. Regis, Emma Hill added nine and Anna Sanford six.
