Participants wrap up their ride at the 14th annual Cabinet Ridge Riders ATV Poker Run on Saturday (above). The ride in Trout Creek had 282 riders. The Cabinet Ridge Riders paid 13 places and drew 10 loser hands, who got $5 each, if they were present. The winning poker hands were Kendra Schmitt of Washington in first place with a full house (kings over nines), Chuck Maul of Frenchtown in second place with a Full House (fours over kings), and Serena French of Noxon in third place with an ace-high flush.

Raffle tickets also were sold for a Husqvarna chainsaw and Vortex binoculars. Pat Golden of Trout Creek won the chainsaw and Mark Deboodt of Spokane won the binoculars. So far this year, Cabinet Ridge Riders have donated $11,770 to various community organizations, including $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors in Noxon, Thompson Falls and Plains.
