Shanks a Lot holds onto Tuesday lead

Weathering the golfing storm, the Shanks a Lot team held on to first place in Tuesday Night Men’s League action at River’s Bend last week.
Shanks a Lot remains in first place with 199.5 points, Big Bull Sports is second with 191 and the Feed-N-Fuel quartet of Dave Petteys, Steve Clark, Doug Gunderson and Mike Gilmore, which shot the low team gross of 176, are in third place with 185.5 team points.
Sparky’s Gutter Time golfers Kevin Sparks, Kevin Kegel, Jesse Mack and Mike Thilmony combined forces to shoot the low team net of 137.
Gilmore grabbed low individual gross honors with a 38 and Sparks captured low net honors with a 31.
In other Tuesday highlights, Gilmore shot down the long putt on No. 3, Rick Hagedorn was clsoest to the pin off the tee on No. 5, Rusty Haggard made the long on No. 6, Ron Belger was closest to the pin on No. 8, John Buckingham busted the long drive on No. 9, and Russ Yeager hit the long 55+ drive on No. 9.
Dave Garr scored a chip-in on No. 3.
