WITH LOVE FROM MAINE – Pirker's POW bracelet was sent to Trout Creek School by a resident in Maine who wore it during the 1970s. Nearly 5 million POW bracelets were made to provide positivity and honor service members who were prisoners of war and suffering, according to Carol Bates Brown, creator of the bracelets.
