The seniors in Noxon’s 20th Century/Government class are making sure local veterans know they are appreciated.

The civics class will be hosting a Veteran’s Day assembly next week and are putting out a call to area vets to join them in honor of their service and sacrifice. The assembly is slated for Friday, Nov. 10, in the Noxon High School gymnasium. Veterans are invited to arrive early at 11:35 a.m. to sign in so the senior class can gauge the size of the ranks in attendance. The assembly will begin 11:50 a.m..

After the assembly, all veterans are invited to stay for lunch with the student body to share stories and answer questions. Veterans are welcome to bring a guest for the assembly and the following luncheon.
