So this is what Trump's presidency will be like

November 2, 2017

The country is distracted. Since the day Donald Trump announced his candidacy, politics in the U.S. has been a whirlwind of distractions.

Trump is almost 10 months into his presidency, and we’re more confused than ever. Accusations are flying on both sides of the political aisle, and it’s hard to see how anything can get done.

Former FBI Director Robert Mueller is leading an investigation into whether or not Russia played a role in the 2016 presidential election. And this week a grand jury indicted Trump campaign officials as part of the investigation.

It’s a distraction. The focus of the President and Congress isn’t on how to make our country better, it’s on Russia. It’s on who was involved in what portion of the campaign.

The fact is, Americans voted Donald Trump as the President. And we’re pretty sure this investigation isn’t going to be quick and painless for any party. For the next 3-plus years, Trump’s presidency will be plagued with accusations.

We just hope the American people don’t get lost in the shuffle. And rather, they come together as on regardless of party lines.
