Very, very good H-Men win

When the Horsemen are good, they are very, very good.

The Plains Horsemen got off to a running start in 2018 last week, blasting past St. Regis 62-5 Thursday in Plains and knocking off the Savage Heat 69-25 in Hot Springs Saturday.

Now 3-1 in 14C play and 7-1 overall, coach Mike Cole and his H-Men return to action Friday hosting Two Eagle River, before visiting Noxon Saturday.

Derick Curry scored 15 points to pace the Horsemen against St. Regis, Jay VonHeeder added 14, Wyatt Weyers eight, Kyle Weeks and Tanner Ovitt six each, Esvin Reyes four, Sinjin LaDeaux three, and Matt McCracken, Treydon Brouillette and Jake Weyers two apiece.

Nic Day and Andrew Sanford scored two points each for St. Regis.

At Hot Springs Saturday, McCracken and Ovitt each finished with 12 points, Curry and LaDequx added 11 each, VonHeeder and Weeks eight each, Brouillette five and Reyes two.
