Trotters win 14C wars

And the girls’ District 14C hoop wars rage on…

Coach Jess Nagy and her Plains Trotters won two more 14C skirmishes last week, blasting past Two Eagle River 67-15 in Plains Friday and getting the best of the Lady Red Devils 51-31 in Noxon Saturday.

The next basketball battles for the Trotters are with the Charlo Vikings in Plains Thursday, and against the Lady Trojans of Troy in Troy Friday.

Lindsay Laws led the Trotter charge in the win over Two Eagle with 18 points, Jessica Thompson added 11, Rachel Huenink nine, Kara Altmiller seven, Kassidy Kinzie six, Kylee Altmiller and Brooklyn Stafford four each and Emma Morgan, AnaLisa Loberg, Natalee Deschamps and Audrey Brown two apiece.

Malanya Carpentier scored eight points to pace Two Eagle and Tarae Goodluck added five.

Laws again led the Trotters in Noxon with 12 points, Deschamps scored 10, Thompson nine, Kinzie six, Kara Altmiller, Haley Josephson and Huenink four each, and Kylee Altmiller two.
