Coach Richard Jackson’s Lady Savage Heat played good basketball but lost a pair of District 14C games to Sanders County foes last week, falling 49-37 to Plains in Plains Thursday and 42-37 to Noxon in Hot Springs Saturday.

Both games featured strong fourth quarter comebacks from the young Savage Heat. The Heat outscored Plains 15-6 in the final eight minutes and out-tallied Noxon 14-8 in the fourth period.

McKennzie Cannon canned 14 points to lead Hot Springs against Plains, Sydney Jackson added eight, Stacy Gray six and Sage Jackson, Lizzie Fisher and Danielle Graham three apiece.

Cannon went off for 19 points in the game with Noxon, Gray scored seven, Emma Rae five, and Sage and Sydney Jackson three each.

Heading into the final week of the regular season, the Heat will play at St. Regis Thursday before hosting Charlo Saturday.
