TF man pleads guilty to incest, sexual assault

A Thompson Falls man pleaded guilty Tuesday to two felonies, sexual assault and incest. Richard Grimm faces a sentence of up to 100 years in prison and a fine of up to $50,000 for each charge. Grimm appeared before District Judge James Manley Tuesday.

Grimm admitted to sexually assaulting his granddaughter, who is under the age of 16, on July 31, 2017.

Sentencing for Grimm was set for April 10.

Also in District Court on Tuesday, a Plains woman admitted to two felony theft charges. Court documents stated that Dianna Tedrick knowingly misused funds while serving as bookkeeper for the Plains Community Ambulance.

Documents allege that Tedrick made $3,009.12 in payments to Capital One from June 2017 to April 2017, and made unauthorized fuel purchases totaling $4427.06 between May 2014 and April 2017. Sentencing for Tedrick is set for March 27.

Landon Clark was sentenced to 12 months probation on three counts of negligent endangerment. The three misdemeanors stemmed from incidents in June and October of 2017. Clark admitted in court Tuesday to shooting a gun into a hillside in Plains on June 3, 2017, then driving recklessly on Highway 28. He also admitted to running across a highway while intoxicated on October 23, 2017. Clark was given credit for 43 days served in the Sanders County Jail.
