Playing friendly before league wars turn nasty

The Tuesday and Wednesday night men’s leagues started season play last week with a pair of fun nights at River’s Bend.

With the Tuesday men, team Feed N Fuel shot the low gross round of 31, Kelly Kovarik was closest to the pin on No. 8 and Howard Morkert and Scott Pardee knocked down chip ins, Morkert on No. 7 and Pardee on No. 8.

With the Wednesday night players, Hagedorn Land Surveying scored the low team gross round of 31, Steve Anderson converted the long putt on No. 3, Pardee was closest to the pin on No. 5, Mike Gilmore ran in the long putt on No. 6, Kovarik clubbed his tee shot closest to the pin on No. 8, Dylan Beckman blasted the long drive on No. 9 and Chuck Manry hit the long 55+ drive on No. 9.

Rick Hagedorn and Morkert both made chip ins on No. 5 part of their Wednesday night rounds.
