First Security Bank retained control of first place in Wednesday Night Men’s League standings as Wild Coyote and Whitefish Credit Union shot the low team gross and team net rounds at River’s Bend last week.

Shooting for Wild Coyote, Gary Thompson, Kevin Sparks, Kelly Kovarik and Howard Morkert posted the low team gross of 182, while Whitefish CU golfers Ron Beaty, Rusty Sharp, Randy Hojem and Chuck Manry shot the low team net of 42.

Thompson shot the low individual gross round of 40 and Morkert had the low net of 32.

In other play of the day, Ron Turk was closest to the pin in 3 on No. 2, John Pritzkau sank the long putt on No. 3, Shawn Morgan was closest to the pin on No. 5, Morkert knocked down the long putt on No. 6, Bill Nolen put his tee shot closest to the pin on No. 8 and Rick Hagedorn sent the long drive down No. 9.

Thompson and Nolen each made chip-in shots on No. 2 and Mike Gilmore got one down on No. 5.
