Footprints of Teddy Roosevelt

The Old Jail Museum in Thompson Falls will open Mother's Day, Sunday, from 1 to 4 p.m. This year the museum is feating a Theodore Roosevelt exhibit, detailing his adventures in Sanders County. Roosevelt first came to Thompson Falls in July 1888 to hunt mountain goats. The exhibit features a full-size mountain goat mount, and a map with footprints signifying the places Roosevelt visited in Thompson Falls.
