Coulda, shoulda, woulda ... advice for graduates

It’s been many moons since most of us at The Sanders County Ledger graduated high school, but the lessons learned still resonate. Fun fact: half of our staff graduated from Thompson Falls High School.

As young adults across the county prepare to graduate on Sunday, we have a little advice for the seniors.

“Everything is going to be OK in the end. If it’s not OK, it’s not the end.” — Sara Czerwinski

“Always do your best and give 100 percent.” — Shana Neesvig

“The world doesn’t owe you anything. You have to go out there and make your own way. Learn good work ethics.” — Sherry Hagerman-Benton

“You cannot get back lost time. Live in the moment and be productive.” — Justin Harris

“Keep your eye on the ball and your head in the game.” — John Hamilton

“Go out and explore the world. But remember, you can always come home.” — Annie Wooden

To all the Sanders County graduates, congratulations. We are proud of you, and we know your friends and families are, too.

Your diploma is a great accomplishment. We can’t wait to see the amazing things you do. Maybe some day we’ll even write about our accomplishments. We just hope it’s not in the sheriff’s log.
