Wild Coyotes hunt best on Wednesdays

Wild Coyotes ran wild on River’s Bend last week, as the wiley pack of golfers featuring Dave Petteys, Rusty Sharp, Kevin Sparks and Howard Morkert combined forces to shoot a 164, good for the low team gross in last week’s Wednesday Night Men’s League play.

Sparks led the pack for the Coyotes with the low individual gross of 36, while Mike Smith of team T-R-L shot the low net of 28.

Ron’s Running Dinos – Jesse Mack, Marc Terrazas, Jerry Neal and Ray Marshall – shot the low team net of 140.

In other Wednesday night play, Mike Baxter was closest to the pin off the tee on the Clark Fork River-inundated No. 2 and again closest to the pin on No. 8, Smith rolled in the long putt on No. 3 and hit the ‘old-man’s’ (55 and over) long drive on No. 9, Shawn Morgan was money with the tee shot closest to the pin on No. 5, Ron Beaty converted the long putt on No. 6, and Kevin Sparks smashed the long drive on No. 9.

John Pritzkau (No. 3), Jase Miller and Sparks (No. 5) and Terrazas (No. 7) all had chip-in shots fall in the cup this past Wednesday.
