Sanders County and the Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) will commemmorate the completion of the Heron bridge project next week.

Construction began in 2015, though the initial planning for the project began in 2010. The project was completed this spring and cost $16.1 million.

Sanders County and MDT officials will hold a dedication ceremony on Thursday, June 28, at 2 p.m. at the bridge.

Refreshments will be served at the ceremony.
