Plane makes emergency landing on pass road

 


Sanders County Sheriff’s Office received a call from a witness of an emergency landing of a small plane at mile marker 14 on the Idaho side of Thompson Pass at 9:50 a.m. on Tuesday. According to Sanders County Sheriff Tom Rummel, two individuals on board the plane were not injured, and the plane partially blocked the road.

Sheriff Rummel said that Sanders County advised the sheriff’s office in Shoshone County, Idaho, who responded to the incident. No further details were provided.
