JV netters keeping busy

The Lady Hawk JV volleyball team played three matches last week, falling to Stillwater Christian in Thompson Falls last Tuesday, to Missoula Loyola in Missoula Thursday and to Florence in Thompson Falls Saturday.

Against Stillwater Christian, Elli Pardee hit three set assists, five digs and four kills, and Faith Frields and Danielle Hodges three service aces each. Versus Loyola, Pardee hit three assists, Kelsey Frank had six digs, Frields, Abby Lane, McKenzie Robbins, Caity Alexander and Angel Whiting hit one kill apiece, Lane had a block and Frields hit three service aces.

In the match with Florence, Alexander had four assists and a block, Frank collected six assists, Pardee hit two kills, Hodges and Alexander had a block each and Hodges smacked a service ace.

Rachel Hanson is the Lady Hawks’ new junior varsity coach and Victoria Forkin is in her first season as the Thompson Falls C team coach.
