Round and round it goes, how it ends nobody knows... at least not right now, but we will in the coming weeks.

The ultra-competitive District 10C volleyball league race continued last week with a bunch of seemingly conflicting results reflective of the conference's parity.

In Plains Thursday, the Hot Springs Savage Heat, after falling behind the Trotters 14-4 in the first set, came back to win that set and eventually the match in five sets, winning the decisive fifth 15-8 to score the key Sanders County win.

In Hot Springs Saturday, the visiting Noxon Lady Red Devils, who had earlier defeated Plains in Plains but lost to them at home, went five sets in defeating the Savage Heat 19-25, 25-20, 24-26, 25-23, 15-7.

On that same night in Charlo, the Trotters fell to Charlo in four sets.

As the conference race continues to spin toward its conclusion with the District 10C tournament in Hot Springs Oct. 25-26, several more important matches will be played this coming week, and all three of the Sanders County teams involved will play three matches each.

Coach Alisha Pablo and her Hot Springs netters visit Arlee Thursday, host Charlo Saturday and play at Darby Tuesday.
