NOBEL PRIZE-WINNING SPEAKER - Dr. Dudley Herschbach, winner of the Nobel Prize in chemistry 1986, shares insights and experiences with Plains school students and staff. Dr. Herschbach is the uncle of Plains resident Della Garrison. He met with students and faculty members to share his life experiences and what ultimately led to his study of molecular dynamics of chemical reactions. Dr. Herschbach, 86, is still actively researching the effect of lasers on dynamics of chemical reactions.
