4-H members compete at communication finals

Sanders County 4-H members had a chance to fine-tune their Communication Days presentations for the final round, held Sunday at Plains School.
Junior and senior 4-H members competed for prizes including Multi-County Camp scholarships, as well as a chance to attend 4-H Congress in Billings in July.
In the junior division, the top presenters were Kara Christensen of the Hot Springs Wranglers and Mikiah Cook of Plains with the Southside Sparks. Christensen did a demonstration on perler beads, and Cook gave an illustrated talk on snow. The two tied for first place. The other top junior presenters were Andrew and Clair Wrobleski, both of the Southside Sparks.
Robyn Stratford was the top presenter in the senior division, earning a trip to 4-H Congress. Stratford is a member of the Southside Sparks 4-H club. Second place in the senior division went to Martin Wrobleski (Southside Sparks, third was Ben Croft (Thompson Falls Mountaineers) and fourth was Holly Stratford (Southside Sparks).
Everyone who qualified for the final presentations received a medallion.
