Within the next few weeks an order will be placed for engraving of bricks honoring military veterans, which will be embedded at the Veteran’s Memorial on Ainsworth Field. If you haven’t yet purchased a brick for yourself, a family member, or a cherished friend, now is the time. Sanders County is so fortunate to have such a dignified and lovely memorial. What makes it extra special and meaningful are the engraved bricks honoring veterans through the generations for their service to this great country. Please don’t miss the opportunity for recognition of your military service, those of your family members, and of your friends. Together we served, from one generation to another. Together we are honored by the Sanders County Veteran’s Memorial.

Application forms for purchase of bricks are located at Lundgren Chiropractic, Clark Fork Valley Elks Lodge, D&D Liquor, Thompson Falls Public Library, Thompson Falls City Hall and the Sanders County Courthouse. Those living outside the Thompson Falls area can contact Linda Rochleau at (406) 827-2878 to obtain a form. The cost is $50 per brick, and, if able, an additional $50 for maintenance and upkeep of the memorial site is requested.
