Officials warn of tick-borne diseases

TINY NUISANCE - Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services reports that cases of Rocky Mountan spotted fever and tularemia, diseases caused by tick bites, have increased in recent years.

As Montanans look to enjoy the outdoors this spring and summer, state and local public health officials urge everyone to follow a few simple steps to prevent tick bites and their illnesses: Limit, Repel and Inspect.
