Are you seeing 2020 yet?

Whether you can see 2020 clearly or not you had best get used to the sight because it is bearing down upon us as we speak. In fact, it is already here.

The 2020 portion of the local prep sports schedules kick in this week with a plethora of basketball games and wrestling action in the area.

In wrestling, the Thompson Falls-Noxon Blue Hawks will compete in the Ronan Duals Tournament Friday and Saturday, while the Plains-Hot Springs Savage Horsemen will hit the mats in the Florence Invitational Saturday.

All eight Sanders County high school teams will be busy on the basketball court this weekend.

The Hot Springs girls and boys travel to Mission for games with the Lady Bulldogs and Bulldogs Thursday to tip off the local hoop action. The Heat girls and boys will then host their counterparts from Valley Christian in Hot Springs Friday.

The Plains Trotters and Horsemen will host the Thompson Falls Lady Hawks and Hawk boys Friday, and the St. Regis girls and boys will be in Noxon for games with the Lady Devils and Devils that night as well.

Back on the hardwood Saturday, Thompson Falls teams will host Troy, Plains teams will travel to Darby and Noxon teams will play at Charlo.
