The 14C-leading Plains Horsemen notched two more important conference wins last week, holding off the determined Hot Springs Savage Heat 69-50 in Plains Thursday and knocking off the Tigers 57-48 in a 14C showdown at St. Regis Friday.

Now 8-0 in conference play and 13-3 overall, coach Tyrel Allen and his Horsemen wrap up regular season play this week, hosting Noxon Friday and taking on Two Eagle River in Pablo Saturday.

The game with Hot Springs was close until the fourth quarter, when the Horsemen went on a 22-11 run to finally pull away.

Treydon Brouillette counted 21 points to lead the Plains win, Kade Pardee added 16, Nathan Feliksa 11, Jake Weyers eight, Parker Flock five, Esvin Reyes three and Tyson Brouillette one.
