Double H Dirt Works wins fun night round

Putting regular league hostilities aside for one round, the Tuesday Night Men held a play night last week and Double H Dirt Works stole the show with a combined round of 71.

Ty Pardee led last Tuesday’s parade around River’s Bend with a 41 and Mike Thilmony factored in his handicap to arrive at the low individual net of 31.

In hole play, Pardee was closest to the hole in 3 on No. 2, Rusty Haggard ran in the long putt on No. 3, Jens Jantzen was the man on the Par-3s, hitting the shots closest to the pin on both No. 5 and No. 8, Rusty Sharp shot down the long putt on No. 6, Caleb Bates clobbered the long drive on No. 9, and John Mosher hit the other long drive, the one for those traveling over 55, on No. 9.

Sharp (No. 3), Bates (No. 5) and Haggard (No. 9) all made chip-in shots part of their Tuesday rounds.

The second half of the league season will tee off this week at the Bend.
