Smoke from wildfires in California, Idaho and Oregon made its way to Sanders County this week, painting the sky on the west end of the county with shades of orange at sunset and making for smoky sunrises from the east in the mornings.

The weekend forecast projects cooler temperatures this weekend, with highs in the 60s on Sunday.
