In the schools

October 1, 2020

Editor's Note: This school year, Sanders County school administrators will be providing updates of what is happening in the school districts. Our first update comes from Jonathan Martin, Superintendent of Noxon Schools.

Noxon Schools is off to a running start this school year. Although school looks a little bit different this year with the health precautions that we need to take for COVID-19, we are coming to school five days a week and are holding all classes. Our fall sports season is going well with volleyball and football. The kindergarten class had the opportunity to take a field trip to a local blueberry farm. This year we have a journalism class that will be writing a school newsletter. Last school year we received a DLAP grant from the State of Montana for new heaters for our high school and junior high. This project is in its final stages and will be wrapping up in the next couple of weeks with eleven new heaters being installed.
