Red Devils repel Hot Springs

February 18, 2021

Maybe they can pull it off again, this time on the other team’s court.

Coach Ben Johnson and his previously winless Noxon Red Devil boys put one in the win column in Noxon’s final home game of the year, edging past Sanders County rival Hot Springs 38-37 in Noxon Saturday.

Hoping they can pull of the feat again on Hot Springs’ court, the Devils, as the No. 6 seed, were playing at No. 3 Hot Springs Tuesday, but results of that game were not available at press time.

The Noxon boys also lost to Clark Fork in Superior Thursday but details on that game were not available.

Derreck Christensen led Noxon’s big win over Hot Springs with 10 points, Wyatt Lackner added eight, Brody Hill seven, Cade VanVleet six, Jared Webley four and Nate Cano three.
