Ostwald leads team to Wednesday win

 


With Ryan Ostwald leading the way with the low individual gross of 38, the Hagedorn Land Surveying team – which also includes Paul Flemmer, Kelly Kovarik and Bernie Groshong – copped low team gross honors with a collective round of 175 in Wednesday Night Men’s League action at River’s Bend last week.

Although the Highlead foursome held onto the lead in the latest standings, Ron’s Running Dino’s (Dan Kier, Bruce Sterling, Jesse Mack and Ryan Craven) had the low team net of 145 for the week.

Chuck Manry bagged low individual net honors with a well-adjusted round of 30.

In hole play, Jesse Mosher was closest to the pin in 3 on No. 2, Dan Whittenburg was good with the long putt on No. 3, Rusty Sharp was closest to the pin on No. 5, Kovarik collected long-putt recognition on No. 6, Flemmer was closest to the pin off the tee on No. 8, Kevin Sparks ripped the long drive on No. 9 and Ben Mummert blasted the long 55+ drive on No. 9.

Randy Hojem was the lonesome guy in the chip-in category, being the only man to make one this week, getting it on No. 2.
