It's a battle for Tuesday title

by Annie Wooden

The Tuesday night men’s league at River’s Bend continues to beat the heat with rounds of play as the second half of the season moves on. Custom Ventures players Kade Pardee, Doug Fisher, Ty Pardee and Russ Yeager shot the low team gross round of 175, while Big Sky Pantry’s Bill Nolen, Howard Morkert, Scott Rasor and Mike Tessier turned in the low team net score of 138.

Mike Normandin had the low individual gross round of 41 and Rusty Haggard’s 31 was good enough for low net.

Four golfers sank chip-in shots, including Yeager on No. 1, Morkert on No. 2, Kade Pardee on No. 5 and Nolen on No. 6. Steve Fairbank drove the longest tee shot on No. 9 for those 55 and older, and Ryan Ostwald took that honor for the younger generation. Ty Pardee was closest to the pin on No. 8, John Mosher sank the long putt on No. 6 and Kevin Sparks took that honor on No. 3. Dave Garr was closest to the pin in three shots on No. 2 and Ron Beaty was closest to the pin on No. 5.
