Our Viewpoint

Anything is possible

September 2, 2021

If you need something uplifting and inspiring, read my story on the front page about the documentary premiering about Miss Montana. If you need to be even more inspired, watch the film or read Bryan Douglass's book. I've seen it and I've read it, and they both have incredible stories of this incredible adventure these incredible volunteers embarked upon.

The Miss Montana volunteers literally started out with nothing. Well, they had a run-down World War II plan and an idea. That was enough to get them going though. They worked so hard. Not just the mechanics and the pilots. There were people supporting the effort through donations and fundraising and even feeding the volunteers and bringing them brownies. As Bryan Douglass states, this really is a Montana success story.

Watch the documentary. Read Douglass's book. Get inspired and see what you can do in your own communities. When you think something can't be done, remember these people who came together and literally reached the sky. They did it together, teaching us that anything is possible.
