It came down to the final week of play, but Jeanne Holleran and Tina Wheeler were crowned women’s league champions at River’s Bend last week after winning in a playoff.

The ladies enjoyed a scramble on the final night of play, with Liz Morkert and Lana Nolen shooting the low score of 44. Wheeler and Danice Toyias each chipped one in last Thursday as Jackie Pride was closest to the pin in four on No. 2, Kristy Beaty was closest to the pin on No. 8, Holleran hit the long drive on No. 9 for those 55 and older and Marshanna Drop was closest to the pin on No. 5 and hit the other long drive on No. 9.
