Trotters, Horsemen suffer losses on the road

The Plains Trotters fell to the Mission Bulldogs in three sets in their first 7B conference volleyball mastch last week. The Trotters and coach Jesse Butcher traveled to Mission on Thursday, losing to the Bulldogs 25-14, 25-17 and 25-22.
The Trotters then hosted Arlee on Saturday to round out their Labor Day weekend. Results of that match were not available.
Next up for Plains is a mattch on the road Saturday at Loyola.
The Plains football team was also on the road last weekend, traveling to Seeley-Swan to face the Blackhawks.
Seeley-Swan scored 22 points in each of the first two quarters against the Horsemen, going into the half 44-0. Plains was able to hold the Blackhawks to just one touchdown in each of the third and fourth quarters.
The Horsemen will play Flint Creek in Plains this Saturday.
