TO LIVE ANOTHER YEAR – A whitetail buck wanders the woods west of Plains. While hunting season is over, the rut was not as he nosed among several does, who darted off with a lack of interest.
The general hunting season ended in Montana November 28, and despite lower numbers of hunters through the Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks check station at Thompson Falls, harvest were up for all animals.
