A March 3 article about the new owners at The Local Store in Trout Creek stated that the store is the only grocery store between Sandpoint and Thompson Falls. The Ledger recognizes the efforts of several local businesses and is thankful for their offerings for our communities. In Noxon, visit the Angry Beaver General Store or Big Sky Pantry for a variety of grocery items.

In a March 3 article about Cancer Network of Sanders County, the amount of gifts distributed in 2022 thus far is $15,300. The year was incorrect in our article.

Blue Hawk Chesney Lowe was incorrectly identified as a sophomore in a March 3 article. Lowe is in fact a junior at Thompson Falls High School. When she pointed out the error, I joked with Lowe that I didn't want her to grow up so fast.

In the March 10 Ledger, an article listed the Lady Hawks who were on the team in 2003, the last time they went to state. Amanda Grazier was left out of the team list. I apologized profusely to Amanda. You can now find her at the Little Bitterroot store in Thompson Falls. Amanda is responsible for the masterpiece window creations you'll see on the storefront. She is a beautiful soul and does a fantastic job at the store managing her incredible team of employees.

The Ledger strives to provide the most accurate information for our readers. Printing corrections and providing the correct information is part of maintaining integrity in our communities.

Also, thank you to those who helped me identify the "cheeseburger" bird mentioned in my March 10 editorial as a chickadee, and to those who have shared memories learned from their favorite teachers. I value this connection with our readership. — Annie Wooden
