Thompson Falls alum Cody Burk is continue his track and field success at the college level. Burk, a freshman at Montana Tech, was named the men's indoor field athlete of the week for the Frontier Conference on February 21. At the Stinger Open in South Dakota, Burk threw the shot put 13.57 meters, which was the longest throw of the season for the Frontier Conference. Burk placed 11th of 26 entrants at the Stinger Open. At the 2022 Mountain State Games in Pocatello in February, Burk threw12.96 meters.
